    Description

    11” across shoulder, 14” armpit to armpit, 12” empire waist, 23” long.  This is a very special piece, made with an unusual and beautiful fabric with pink elephants on a chocolate ground. It is pleated from the waist in the front and has ruffled sleeves.  It has a brown ribbon tie which appears to have bled lightly into the bodice (see photos).  The print is busy enough that you hardly see this, and the dress is otherwise in excellent, crisp condition.  Cotton fibers.
